We're expanding our team and looking for a dynamic Trust Manager to support our Associate Director to achieve our business objectives, projects and develop and mentor the team
Your New Role
This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:
- Act as Team Lead for a portfolio of clients
- Oversight and ensure the highest level of service for our clients at all times
- As part of the Management Team ensure operational and client efficiencies
- Assume day to day responsibility for matters arising in relation to these areas thus freeing capacity for the Associate Director to focus on key strategic objectives of the team / business
- Assist the Associate Director with the production of management reports
- Provide technical support to clients &the team in all client and business related matters, whilst making use of the internal expertise from in-house tax, compliance and legal teams
- Attend and contribute to meetings with potential clients, intermediaries and existing clients
- Contribute to the development of the business and its profitability both by maximising revenue from existing clients and seeking to win new business/clients
- Understand and apply local legislation relating to the conduct of trust / fiduciary business to ensure that the business complies with regulatory requirements
- Manage operational risks in accordance with local procedures
- Act as point of reference for complaints and complex cases
- Participates in the development and continuous review and update of local policies and procedures
- Act as a mentor to junior members of the team
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures
What will you need to succeed in this role?
As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:
- Comprehensive finance related experience with a significant number of years experience within a Fiduciary environment
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of tax regimes and structures
- Strong organisational and process management skills
- Typically holds a relevant qualification e.g. STEP, ICSA or legal qualification
