You'll manage a portfolio of clients, maximising revenue and achieving client retention in line with company objectives.
Your New Role
Your role and responsibilities will grow and adapt to the changing needs of the business. Below are the core duties of the role, which is not exhaustive;
- Acts as Relationship Lead for a portfolio of clients, maximising revenue from these relationships and achieving client retention
- Acts in a Directorial capacity for client companies, ensuring the highest level of service for our clients at all times
- As part of the Isle of Man management team, ensure operational efficiencies and mentorship to more junior members of the team
- Provides technical advice to clients and team members in complex matters, whilst making use of the internal expertise from in-house tax, compliance and legal teams etc.
- Undertakes marketing meetings with potential clients, intermediaries and existing clients at various occasions
- Assists with the production of management reports
- Contributes to the development of the business and its profitability both by maximising revenue from existing clients and seeking to win new business/clients
- Participates in the development of new service line products and the continuous review and update of local policies and procedures
- Acts as a point of reference for complaints and complex cases
- Understands and applies local legislation relating to the conduct of trust/fiduciary business to ensure that the business complies with regulatory requirements and standards
- Manages operational risks in accordance with policies and procedures
What will you need to succeed in this role?
As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:
- Approved Key Person as required by regulator
- Hold either STEP or ICSA qualified or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as accountancy or law
- Have extensive working knowledge and experience of the Yachting and Aviation Industry in a corporate services environment
- Experience in providing strategic input and direction to the Yachting and Aviation business
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Thrive in an entrepreneurial business development environment (desirable)
- Have a dynamic approach and a commitment to enhance the Yachting and Aviation service line (desirable)
- Have strong business development and presentational skills and an ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals (desirable)
- Comprehensive finance related experience with a significant number of years’ experience within a Trust Company environment (desirable)
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of tax regimes and structures (desirable)
- Comprehensive knowledge of products (desirable)
