You'll support the development of our business by providing and promoting a first class personal service to existing and prospective clients.
You will work closely with the Directors and the wider management team to ensure business growth whilst meeting regulatory and internal administration needs.
Your New Role
This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:
Client Service:
• Act as Relationship lead for a portfolio of clients maximising revenue from these relationships and achieving client retention
• Provide technical advice to clients & the team in complex matters, whilst making use of the internal
expertise from in-house tax, compliance and legal teams etc.
• As a member of the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for the management of various asset classes
• Support, motivate and develop the client services team, including line manager responsibilities such as performance management and objective setting, as well as day to day responsibilities for matters arising
• Significant contribution to strategic direction of the tactical development of local initiatives
• Attend and contribute to meetings with prospects and existing clients
• Contribute to the development of the business and its profitability both by maximising revenue from existing clients and seeking to win new business/clients
• Participating in the development of new products
• Identifying opportunities to enhance revenue and mitigate losses
• Understand and provide technical subject matter expertise
• Act as point of reference on complaints and complex cases
Operational:
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and internal control standards/procedures and where required participate in the development and constant review of the framework as required for the growth and focus on our service offering
• Collate KYC, act as first line of defence in line with the onboarding policies and procedures, and the AML/CFT policies of the business
• Ensure efficiency by working closely with the technical team to continually develop systems and procedures to optimise team resources locally in conjunction with the wider group
• Oversee and manage operational risks in relation to service the underlying portfolio with direct reports and ensure client mandates are delivered to a consistently high standard
What will you need to succeed in this role?
As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:
- Exceptional organisational skills
- A strong academic background
- Significant experience working in a fiduciary environment
- Have an expert level of client administration
- Have expert technical knowledge of tax compliance and commonly used tax
structuring - STEP or ICSA qualified or equivalent in a relevant field
- Exceptional team management skills, coaching and developing the team
