You'll support the development of the Equiom Group business by providing and promoting a first class personal service to existing and prospective clients, working closely with Co-Directors and wider management team to ensure business growth and that the regulatory, Compliance, Corporate Governance and internal administration needs of the business are met.
Your New Role
This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:
Financial Performance:
- Budgeting & Target Setting - Play an active role in agreeing fee scales, budgets, targets etc.
- EBITDA - Achievement of the EBITDA Target, through delivery of the following:
- Cash Collection - Achieve and exceed targets of your Client Services team
- Revenue - Achieve and exceed targets of your Client Services team
- Invoicing - Achieve and exceed targets of your Client Services team
- Recovery - Achieve and exceed targets of your Client Services team
- Sales – Contribute to the achievement of sales targets through cross selling and up selling existing client base and supporting New Business initiatives of Solutions / Business Development team
- Time Utilisation (personal) - Achieve and exceed personal utilisation target (50%)
- Ensure your Client Services Team is achieving and exceeding utilisation targets.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Significant contribution to strategic direction of the Group and tactical development of local and international initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to enhance revenue and mitigate losses
- Managing key client relationships, professional advisors and intermediaries
- There may be a requirement to act as personal and corporate director
- Acting as Authorised A Signatory
- Act as Relationship lead for a portfolio of client cases
- Manage your Client Service team, assisting with their development, training, performance management, and setting of their annual objectives
- Business development: working with your client team preparing proposals for new business
- Business travel, attending conferences, representing and promoting Equiom and meeting with and enhancing existing client relationships
- Identify opportunities for jurisdictional expansion and start up opportunities, where applicable
Operational:
- Compliance - Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control standards/procedures within your Client Services team
- Efficiency - Ensure efficiency within your team by working closely with the technical team to continually develop systems and procedures to optimise employee resources locally in conjunction with wider group
- Banking - Identify efficiencies through our core bank relationship and implement a control straight through processing model
- Investment – With assistance from Enhance Investments, manage third party investment management relationships ensuring consistent monitoring of investment performance and risk
- Work closely with Group Human Resources department in matters pertaining to employees, recruitment, training, performance, morale etc.
- Play an active role in the sourcing of new employees and support the management of the local headcount to an optimal level
- Lead by example ensuring demonstration of core values daily.
- Work closely with Group Compliance and Risk Department in relation to risk management, money laundering and regulatory matters
Client Service:
- Ensure Group service standards are delivered consistently across all jurisdictions and business lines
- Understand and apply local legislation relating to the conduct of trust / fiduciary business to ensure that the business complies with regulatory requirements
- Manage operational risks in accordance with local procedures
- Act as point of reference on complaints and problem cases
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures
What will you need to succeed in this role?
As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:
- Hold a professionally qualification and a member of STEP or ICSA qualified or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as accountancy or operational management
- Have extensive working knowledge of Private Client and Family Office Services and support operations of the same
- Have detailed knowledge of portfolio management, and oversight of external investment portfolios
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
