You'll be a member of our Marine and Aviation Services team who manage the day to day deliver of Crew Management Services to in house companies, third party clients and white label services.

Your New Role

This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:

• Payroll processing
• Contracting seafarers
• Certification verification
• Bookkeeping
• Drafting company minutes and general company administration
• Liaising with seafarers and escalating any complex tasks to the senior members of the team
• Managing daily services in the absence of other team members
  
• Ensure high standards of compliance are achieved and maintained on your client relationship leads in accordance with Company standards, policies and procedures

What will you need to succeed in this role?

As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:

• Proficient user of Microsoft Office
• Previous customer service experience
• Previous experience of using a crew management system (desirable) 
• Background in maritime, bookkeeping or payroll (desirable)
• Understanding of MLC 2006, STCW and flag state legislation (desirable)
• Basic understanding of employment legislation (desirable)

Personal attributes which would be seen in the ideal applicant include;

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Organisation and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
