You'll provide key support to the team assisting with the delivery of the business objectives, projects and goals.
Your New Role
This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:
- Act as Team Lead for a portfolio of clients
- Have oversight and ensure a high level of service for your portfolio of clients and their assets
- As a member of the management team ensure there are operational and client efficiencies
- Perform and review onboarding and ongoing due diligence checks for new and existing clients
- Day to day responsibility for the team to allow more capacity for the Senior Manager, Associate Director and Director to focus on key strategic objectives and business development opportunities
- Assist the with the production of management reports
- Responsible for overall revenue and accounts for your portfolio
- Provide technical support to clients and the team in all client and business related matters, whilst making use of the internal expertise from in-house tax, compliance and our legal teams
- Attend and contribute in meetings with potential clients, intermediaries and existing clients
- Contribute to the development of the business and its profitability both by maximising revenue with existing clients and seeking to win new business/clients
- Understand and apply local legislation relating to the conduct of trust / fiduciary business to ensure we comply with all regulatory requirements
- Manage operational risks in accordance with local procedures
- Act as point of reference for complaints and complex cases
- Participate in the continuous review and updates of local policies and procedures
- Manage all aspects of employee management for your line reports
- Act as a mentor to junior members of the team
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures
What will you need to succeed in this role?
As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:
- Comprehensive finance related experience with a significant number of years
experience within a Fiduciary industry - Comprehensive technical knowledge of tax regimes and structures
- Strong organisational and process management skills
- Holds a relevant qualification e.g. CSIS or related degree or legal qualification
- Bilingual in Mandarin (desirable)
