You will provide support in managing the team whilst maintaining an exceptional standard of service in proactively administering and manager a varied portfolio of client
Your New Role
This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:
•Guiding, coaching and supporting the team members to deliver and maintain high levels of service.
•Monitor the performance of the team to ensure things are completed, whilst adhering to tight deadlines within budget
•Responsible for administration of a portfolio of complex clients including the preparation and/or review of relevant documentation in an accurate and efficient manner, maintaining a courteous and professional approach with both external and internal clients, at all times.
•Ensure that client files are maintained to a high standard.
•Assist with the technical queries that arise within the team, guiding and training more junior members of the team in respect of those technical matters.
•Maintain relationships with clients and develop a full understanding of client business in order to identify opportunities to cross sell the products offered by Equiom.
•Assist with the day to day management of a team of administrators in the absence of the manager, controlling and supervising the workload to ensure work is completed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner and advising on technical matters or client-related problems.
•Utilising management reporting information to monitor and manage progress on key performance indicators (e.g. debtors, accounts and reviews).
•Responsible for completion of time sheets to ensure clients are billed for time expended.
•Demonstrate an ability to draft minutes and undertake preliminary reviews of external legal documents.
•Act as a signatory as per Equiom (Guernsey) requirements.
•Identify opportunities to improve the scope of services provided to clients and proactively discuss those opportunities with clients.
•Network with intermediaries and relevant business contacts to enhance the opportunities to do business with them.
•Promote the Equiom brand and share our vision and values consistently internally and externally.
•Undertake any reasonable ad hoc tasks as may be required from time to time.
•Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures.
What will you need to succeed in this role?
As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:
Demonstrate a good understanding of trust and company law and administration, along with significant experience, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
•Hold or be working towards an industry relevant qualification and commit to maintain professional knowledge through attendance at relevant seminars, webinars, presentations and reading.
•Possess a good understanding of any relevant tax legislation and demonstrate a willingness to understand tax changes as they arise
•Demonstrate a good understanding of external regulations and legislation and of the internal policies and procedures including anti-money laundering risk ratings and signing limits.
•Maintain and develop good IT skills and be able to demonstrate skill set across the spectrum of the business systems
Personal attributes which would be seen in the ideal applicant include;
•Possess good organisation, communication and time management skills.
•Have the ability to deal with sensitive issues.
•Possess good social skills and have the ability to meet with clients and professional contacts both in a business and a social context. Must be able to travel to meet clients and professional contacts as required
