This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with regulation and documentation and brings structure and control to complex reporting environments, while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business.
The Opportunity
As Manager, International Reporting Obligations, you will collborate between Client Service Teams, jurisdictional subject matter experts, the Assurance Agent and our Global Client Accounting. Your focus will be on governance, review, tracking and regulatory awareness, helping to ensure Group international reporting obligations are met accurately, consistently and on time.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will focus on collboration, review and regulatory oversight, including:
Understanding Register of Overseas filing requirements and coordinating first line review of submissions prepared by Assurance Agent
Act as a point of contact for Companies House queries, supporting ongoing statutory compliance
Coordinate the completion of regulatory filings and monitoring progress against deadlines
Perform pre-submission reasonableness and completeness reviews of documentation prior to verifier sign off
Support AEOI governance activities, including CRS and FATCA processes
Perform reasonableness checks on self-certification forms across multiple jurisdictions and ensuring obligations are accurately logged on Group trackers
Review W-8 forms and associated documentation for completeness and consistency
Support jurisdictions with queries or concerns relating to AEOI processes
Ensure CRS and FATCA requirements are captured at each stage of the client lifecycle and recorded accurately on Group wide trackers
Maintain and reconcile Group reporting management information
Develop technical knowledge to support review and interpretation of international regulatory requirements
Monitor regulatory developments and escalating or communicating relevant changes to stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Experience in regulatory reporting, compliance, client accounting or a related operational role
Strong understanding of statutory and international reporting obligations
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to track multiple activities across jurisdictions
Confidence coordinating across teams and acting as a central point of contact
Strong organisational, communication and documentation skills
Desirable
Exposure to AEOI, CRS and FATCA frameworks
Experience working in a multi-jurisdictional or global environment
Familiarity with valuation processes or client accounting interactions
Relevant professional qualification or working towards one
