We are looking for an experienced and driven Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager to deliver high quality regulatory, compliance, and risk advisory services to a diverse client base.
In this role, you will act as an outsourced Compliance Officer and/or MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer) where required, supporting clients to operate in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of compliance and integrity while delivering practical, client focused solutions.
This is a dynamic opportunity combining advisory expertise, regulatory oversight and relationship management, alongside contributing to business development, training and governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Client Development
Support business development by contributing to client proposals and responding to regulatory queries
Advise prospective clients on compliance requirements for market entry and set up
Manage licence applications, including preparation of business plans and liaison with regulators
Build strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and regulatory bodies
Culture & Collaboration
Promote a strong culture of compliance and integrity internally and across client organisations
Collaborate across teams and service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
Deliver compliance training and induction sessions (AML, risk, governance)
Act as a trusted point of contact for clients and regulators
Execution & Delivery
Act as outsourced Compliance Officer and/or MLRO for client firms
Develop and implement compliance, risk and AML policies and procedures
Design and manage risk based compliance monitoring programmes
Conduct compliance reviews and risk audits
Oversee AML compliance, including suspicious activity reporting and regulatory liaison
Monitor regulatory developments and advise clients on implications
Maintain compliance registers and track key risks and incidents
Support ad hoc client projects and regulatory requests
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Strong knowledge of international regulatory frameworks
Proven experience in compliance, AML, or risk roles
Relevant professional certification (e.g. ICA, ACAMS)
Experience drafting compliance, risk and AML frameworks and policies
Desirable
Experience within financial services or investment structures
Knowledge of financial services licensing processes
Familiarity with regulatory bodies in leading financial centres
