Equiom is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager, Corporate Services to join our Hong Kong office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate services professional looking to take the next step in their career, combining client portfolio management with team leadership responsibilities. You will manage a portfolio of client entities, support the development of junior colleagues, and play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate administration, governance and fiduciary services.
Working closely with Managers and senior leadership, you will contribute to business growth, enhance client relationships, and help drive operational excellence across the Corporate Services team.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage a portfolio of client entities, ensuring all client deliverables are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and professional advisers
Oversee the day-to-day administration of client entities, including statutory filings, corporate records, board documentation, minutes and resolutions
Support client onboarding activities and ensure appropriate due diligence and compliance requirements are met
Review and approve work completed by team members, providing guidance and quality assurance
Monitor deadlines, workflow allocation and team priorities to ensure service standards are consistently achieved
Act as an authorised signatory on client entities where appropriate, exercising sound judgement and governance oversight
Support billing, fee recovery and financial management processes across your portfolio
Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and introduce additional Equiom services where appropriate
Contribute to process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, strengthen controls and enhance the client experience
Support compliance reviews, internal audits and risk management activities
What We're Looking For
Proven experience within Corporate Services, Fiduciary Services, Company Secretarial or a similar professional services environment
Experience managing a portfolio of corporate entities and maintaining direct client relationships
Strong understanding of company law, corporate governance and regulatory requirements
Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising team members
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Commercial awareness and the ability to balance client service with operational objectives
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
Experience working with international or multi-jurisdictional structures
Exposure to client accounting or financial statement reviews
Experience leading process improvement or system enhancement initiatives
Knowledge of AML/CFT requirements and corporate governance best practices
Experience acting as an authorised signatory or in a governance-focused capacity
